I am bleeding,
It's a life of death.
So, I become numb.
The fight becomes natural.

I tap into the sun,
Eat of the fruit
To energize and educate.
I thirst,
But thank God I can drink.
My cup runneth over.
There's praise in my pain.
This strength that is raging within me
Fuels my shining light.
It will rain, but never will I drown.
